I have been very apprehensive but curious about creating a PLN. I dabbled a little with Myspace and Facebook, but I didn't really understand the importance it would be for the teaching profession. I can interact with teachers all over and discuss what we are teaching. It will be a very fascinating, as well as, educational experience for me.
I have learned from the other comments that I am not the only person who is excited about learning new things that will help us teach our students and keep up with them.

I too am excited about learning new and different ways to teach in the classroom. It is also exciting to connect or reconnect with teachers to get good teaching ideas.
ReplyDeleteI'm also trying to understand how this would work in the classroom, especially when they don't have an available computer with them on a daily basis and thus be able to check comments and provide them as well. As I know, great ideas can be lost when not shared quickly and not having that computer in front of them would mean many ideas will be lost.
